Go late at night with chunks for sand sharks. Otherwise, hardly even a sea robin.

Bluefish if your lucky this is year. Last year the only blitzes I seen were right near the the channel at gulf beach were it enters the salt pond. Bunker were hanging out there and blues were devadting them but just out of casting range. I've only seen sea robins there this year.

Recently weakfish, kingfish , sand sharks, cocktail blues, and sea robins have been caught in milford. And I forgot porgies.
Put your time in and use the right baits. You'll catch fish.

Yeah, fish are here. They are just being very fussy. They arent in big numbers either. I got a blue and a short striper the night before last and a 37 1/2" striper last night on eels. You really yave to put in uour time though.

It's been hit or miss down there. As everyone else said you gotta put your time in. You can catch a wide variety of fish in that area.

I gotta try me some eels next time I'm down there.

Yeah, actually I've had good luck with stripers, but that's about it, honestly I really have to put more time into it and all. Thanks for all the positive responses

The blues are begining to fill in.Also,if you have a boat. The back side of Charles Island has been producing weakfish and porgies up to 2 lbs.chum, chum, chum has been the ticket! Beyond Charles, the 2nd barber pole has lots of smaller 5 lb blues with the occasional pods of bigger 10 lb plus bruisers.Drifting eels and bunker chunks are the high producers. My friend relayed news of large schools of bunker in the lower CT river. Some blues under them but,no stripers as of yet. They still seem to be in deeper waters.

Absoluty nothing its a dead sea from shore. Went out two nites this week one pluggin at 11pm without one hit. Last nite i was chuckin with my brother in law and we came up empty. The only high light was a quick run from possibly a striper and a blue came along, it bit a good size section of bunker off behind the head that i had out there. Other then that squat.
