Does anyone know the ice thickness of Beseck? Planning on going tomorrow morning. Also, I always thought the lake had pike in it. Is this true? I looked in the guide to the lakes and ponds in CT and it said nothing about pike.

A few of my friends actually came up with the idea of going here so they asked me to go along. They are setting this up to go sometime tomorrow morning.

If you go -> I suggest you wear your woolies and put heat packs in every pocket, hat, and 2 in each boot because your gonna .....

Having along a little nip of your favorite wouldn't hurt either -> ... Very Happy Thumbs Up

Some one put pike in there years ago. They aren't supposed to be but from what I hear they are doing quite well in there.

Yes there are pike in Beseck, I live there and have caught a couple nice ones already. There's smallies as well, but they're not listed either. Also some nice white perch. Good luck, there's a crap load of nice now.
