Does anyone know the ice thickness of Beseck? Planning on going tomorrow morning. Also, I always thought the lake had pike in it. Is this true? I looked in the guide to the lakes and ponds in CT and it said nothing about pike. |

Allan- that's what I saw in the book also but I'm almost positive that there are pike in there. |

A few of my friends actually came up with the idea of going here so they asked me to go along. They are setting this up to go sometime tomorrow morning. |

Hi BH,
If you go -> I suggest you wear your woolies and put heat packs in every pocket, hat, and 2 in each boot because your gonna .....
Having along a little nip of your favorite wouldn't hurt either -> ...

Some one put pike in there years ago. They aren't supposed to be but from what I hear they are doing quite well in there. _________________ Never Stop Learning |

Yes there are pike in Beseck, I live there and have caught a couple nice ones already. There's smallies as well, but they're not listed either. Also some nice white perch. Good luck, there's a crap load of nice now. |
