I finally got a 9 lber just under 30". Fat SOAB it was. Bucktail and also a 21" at the other spot where Ive been getting all the other 1.s that size. Funny thing is first cast at the first place and I had the smaller one and nothing else for about 2.5 hours so moved and had this 1 on 1st cast but he snuck off so I casted in the same spot and nailed him. Lost a few others that felt heavier, one on a jointed bomber and 1 practically ripped my sluggo off 1 of those long hooks, must have just missed the hook but he had a good hold for a minute! Oh well, at least I finally broke my schoolie curse like I was praying for this weekend! Tomorrow is another day and hopefully they get a little bigger over the weekend. Have pic but its late and my battery on my phone is very low. _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....

Caught 2 in the 30" range last night and as usual missed the big one. Missed a lot for the first time. Not sure what my problem was but I was getting like 3 hits per cadt but couldn't get em! _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....

Was back into the schoolies at Seaside Park today. All fish were under 20", including fish landed by other fishermen who were using soft plastics. |

Hammered them tonight!!!!! Was all over them like white on rice! Was catching a mix of 20"ers - 30"ers and then switched over to a bigger plug (Northbar) and was solid 30"s. No big monster that got caught or got off tonight though. Im hoping to hook onto a 40"er or there abouts of coarse but Ill take these all night long. Barely had time to smoke a cig between catches! LOL Heres the best 1 of tonight

I weighed a 28 1/2" the other night and it was 6.71 on my Berkeley digital scale. The 37" I got early spring was 19 lbs. Maybe my scale is off I have no idea as I don't have another to compare them to. _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....
