Ok so a new Wednesday night of fishing brings us a new round of guess that weight. Since people seemed to enjoy it last week I'll give it another shot. Unfortunately I will not be making any appearances this week as I was stuck catching all dinks. Once again I will give a few days for guesses then reveal the real sizes and see how everyone did. The fish were all weighed digitally so I trust their accuracy. I will provide a few images of each to help out a bit!

I still don't believe the weight of the first one. My digit scale does not lie though. I may have hit the clear scale button though, but I am doubtful. Its the fish that matters not the weight. Wink

We got lengths and my scale its very accurate. I weighed it.

Interesting points.

You should post the length after a day or two and see if you get a change between guesses and guesstimates.

FWIW, I think girth or circumference would make the biggest difference.

Ok, sorry it took a while but here are the answers. This round was some better guesses I would say but in general they were a bit light again with the exception of the first one.

Fish #1 Range: 2.5-3.63 Average: 3.16 Length: ~16"
Actual: 2.84

Fish #2 Range: 3.12-4.81 Average: 3.59 Length: 20"
Actual: 4.12

Fish #3 Range: 2.85-4.18 Average: 3.28 Length: 19"
Actual: 3.62

So, the averages show that you were able to tell the order of fish size and the actual weight was always within the range. No matter what, these were some really nice fish!
