Yeah I thinks it's gunnarain today. If I can get out of work early I'm going to pick up the permit for saltonstal and the maltby lakes. I'm going to try it out on maltby lakes probably today. I hear good things about them.

Maltby can be good. Someone else posted about the abundance of pickerel competing with the bass for the bait fish. I have to agree. The quality of the bass seems to have diminished some the past two years.

Illegal fishing in there hasn't helped either.

Res 1 is a massive weed bed but does hold bass. Res 2 an3 are your best bets.

I was at 3 this morning using Crank Baits. I saw a few nice ones sitting on nests. One by the dam. They wouldn't budge. A few others tried various plastics and notta. They're in there. Just gotta find em.

Congrats on the pig!

Did it have a deformation behind its left pectoral fin? I caught a bass this fall in #3 that was just under six

Why are these referred to as Seymour Reservoirs when none are located in Seymour?

That's what they are called in the anglers guide. I myself usually refer to them as the Oxford reservoirs.
