We did it again (two weeks in a row) another nice fat striper in the CT River. This one was a nice fat 36 inch at over 20lbs. We launched at the Baldwin Bridge ramp, fished Great Island area and a bit north. Jeff caught the big girl on a bunker chunk.
Here is a photo of the fatty
Action was a bit slow, but we'll take a keeper any day Water temps in the river were 52 degrees which is perfect for herring and stripers.. |

Nice fish! I'm new to the river, when you fish the chunk do you just drift with a weight? |

The fish was caught in 8 feet of water on a bunker chunk floated on a bobber set at about 4 feet deep. When she, hit the baitrunner drag started screaming - she wanted it bad. |
