We did it again (two weeks in a row) another nice fat striper in the CT River. This one was a nice fat 36 inch at over 20lbs. We launched at the Baldwin Bridge ramp, fished Great Island area and a bit north. Jeff caught the big girl on a bunker chunk.

Here is a photo of the fatty

Action was a bit slow, but we'll take a keeper any day Water temps in the river were 52 degrees which is perfect for herring and stripers..

Nice fish! I'm new to the river, when you fish the chunk do you just drift with a weight?

The fish was caught in 8 feet of water on a bunker chunk floated on a bobber set at about 4 feet deep. When she, hit the baitrunner drag started screaming - she wanted it bad.
