Porgy = fried or broiled or even boiled to make soup

Fluke/Flounder = fillet them and bake with lemon n butter

Sea bass (my FAVorite)= if already filleted flour/ egg batter then pan fry...can always bake also...very tasty fish..

Why would you fry such delicious options? Frying is for people that don't like the actual taste of the contents. Porgy is really good smoked. I did a salad last year with smoked porgy, pickled onions and brandy braised granny smith apples......awesome! Sea bass has endless options. Fluke/flounder, definitely anything you would do with cod, and tog is good any way you want it. Little salt, pepper and flour, pan seared to golden brown, then served with some steamed veg, or potato hash....perfection!

Well we are all from different backgrounds...so we like food prepared different ways. I dont think frying removes the actual tasted from fish, its just a different taste compared to smoked....BTW have you ever tried deep fried Red Snapper or Red Mullet out of the pan? Its amazing!

Most anything fried is amazing, and though it may not kill the taste of the fried object, it does certainly mask it. I'm not against frying, I just don't agree that it's the way everything should be eaten.
