Snap fisher, what town are you in?
Today I saw snappers going crazy, first time in a week or two. |

Hmmm I'm finding the exact opposite. I haven't caught bluefish all summer long and then last week I went out and ccouldn't keep up with two lines in the water. Tried to go back out yesterday but the sound was much too rough for my wife so I turned around and sailed back up the housatonic and got nothing but eels. |

use the tail section as bait, casts a mile and doesnt come off. the skin is like leather and only caught blues and stripers on it no robins |

Snappers were a plenty the other morning and I agree to use them as bait, especially live lining for blues!!! _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....

I've caught my fair share of robins off snapper chunks and even live ones. But they do make a great live bait for bluefish, big Fluke, and stripers , especially the smaller snappers. |
