They were only interested in a 4 inch rapala original at first. Oncethey sun came up I switched to a perch colored one. I was also throwing tubes and a perch colored rapala crankbait, but never got so much as a hit on either.

I stayed along the undeveloped side. I noticed when I went two weeks ago that they seemed to be in one area. When you get past the beach area there is a little cove. It seemed too clear and I got nothing. But once I got to the shore a little past the cove is where I kept geeting consistant hits. If you keep following the shore there is a ton of structure to cast to. I did notice that there was a huge rock as you continue down the shore. Once I got past it I got no hits or anything. So I went back and worked the shore again from the other angle coming back with success. So I just kept going back and forth until I hit the rock and turned around and did the same thing. I ended up with about 8 smallies. I got on the water about 6:50 am, and stopped fishing about 10:30 so I could get back to my daughters soccer practice.
