Um, NOW. Very Happy
And probably for another month or so. Make sure you head out soon because it seems like they're gone as soon as they arrive Shocked

down in east windsor on South Waters street(first street on the right after you go over the 140 bridge from windsor locks) under the rt91 bridge, iv heard of some keepers being pulled out of there.

I fish there alot, never seen anyone get a keeper yet: not to say some ppl haven't tho. Biggest I have witnessed was 27.5, and there is a group of people who make fires on friday nights and absolutely trash the shoreline.

as far as east windsor iv never seen anyone catch anything there this year either, but thats because i mainly fish at night (midnight till sunrise) and im on a boat, but my buddy that i go out on the boat with used to fish there a lot and has seen many keepers caught there, hes actually got a pic of his PB from the river he caught there, was 43 inches. and for the enfield dam, iv only seen people fishing there during the day, most likely because they dont want to wade out in the river in the fast current at dark.

I live 5 minutes from here. The canal is a good place to fish. There is some slack water where that person is standing in your first picture. Cast in there with a 4" watermelon grub red flake and youll catch a ton of smallmouth. Many will only be 8-12" but there are decent ones there. And if you throw something a little bigger, you might catch a schoolie because there are plenty in the area. Get a picture of the sturgeon and post it please because ive never seen it there. good luck and have fun

Panfishh8r,

I'll do my best to get a picture, it only appears near the surface about every 10-20 minutes, so when I am standing there I'll have the camera ready, and it would be really cool to finally get a picture of it.
