Went to Bantam October 4 and it was about 35 degrees there in the morning. Got a 12 1/4 inch largemouth bass on a white spinner bait in Southbay.
Then caught this 12 inch smallie on a deep diving crankbait
Caught this 25 inch pike on a 5 inch swimbait
Caught my first smallie the day before I went to Bantam on a small crankbait
I can't beleive I missed 4 years of fall fishing for football... |

Yeah it was even darker out of the sun. I didn't know what the hell was on the other end of the line. I saw it come up about 20 yards out and I thought it was a tautog... Fought real good though and I caught 6 of them that day the smallest was 13 inches and the second biggest was 16 and a half. |
