Went to Bantam October 4 and it was about 35 degrees there in the morning. Got a 12 1/4 inch largemouth bass on a white spinner bait in Southbay.

Then caught this 12 inch smallie on a deep diving crankbait

Caught this 25 inch pike on a 5 inch swimbait

Caught my first smallie the day before I went to Bantam on a small crankbait

I can't beleive I missed 4 years of fall fishing for football...

Nice work man....Was that smallie really that dark or was it the angle of the pic?

Yeah it was even darker out of the sun. I didn't know what the hell was on the other end of the line. I saw it come up about 20 yards out and I thought it was a tautog... Fought real good though and I caught 6 of them that day the smallest was 13 inches and the second biggest was 16 and a half.

Nah I didn't get a weight. Next trip though will be to West Hill around Vetern's Day and I will make a report. Laughing
