Well went to this place a friend recommended we go because they have boats for rent big ones enough to fit me and my two friends. One that happens to be in a wheelchair (Alex) we had to get him and the chair in there, wow was that fun.. almost fell of the dock ! here are the numbers. Alex with a total of 4 fish 3 rock bass one LG weight was 1.4lb he had the first of the day pulled it out of sum weed beds on a spinner. Second was my friend j cough about 7 2 rock bass 3 lg weigh 1.5- 2.0 a pickerel and a rainbow cough on jig and spinner and soft jerk bait then finally me 13 fish 6 rock bass funny looking fish.. with those evil red eyes all cough on a jig in about 5-10 feet of water cought 6 lg going for 1.4 2.5 2.8 3.0 4.0 and a runt very healthy fish. All landed on a little of everything a few on a jig. 3.0 on a shaky head jig a few other on a soft jerk bait. and a good size pickerel cought as i was running the trolling moter on a deep diving crank one hand on the handle the other on the pole.. And the lunker of the day was a beautiful sight... jigged a tree that was overhanging over the water maybe 8 feet jigged the hell out of it 25 minutes decided to throw out the spook black and chrome.. j said early on the day "its still to early in the year to use that " boy was j wrong maid a perfect cast everyone was just sitting there watching me .. The water was at a dead still to twitches and a pause and bamm!! that fish slammed that thing waited til he took it and i set the hook dam was that shit fun my first top water fish 4.0 . sorry about the quality camera phone pics , not bad for a place i never been to before im ready to go again. Dont know if i added the pics right they might be to large sorry Sad Smile

Nice fish man!

"its still to early in the year to use that ", this is bass fishing after all and thought there are some basic rules, most of the time they can go out of the window.

Good mix of fish and the lures they were caught on.

Wow guys - i have to say Its amazing you all get out there and fish and not let something like that hold you back!!! I truly admire all of you who are in a wheelchair. Is it too pushy to ask how you ended up needing a wheel chair?

BTW- lakeville is my town, anytime you guys make it up get in touch. I can see lakeville lake right out my living room window!

RaMPaGeBaSsMaN - i cleaned up the photos for you. If you need help with posting pics just let me know... you have it right, you just have to space out the links when you add them to your post... i generally put 2-3 spaces between each link... one on top of the other...

I'm in a chair because I broke my back snowboarding. like 4 years ago. really doesn't effect me, im a para and have full upper body strength. right now i fish out of a basstender and can launch it by myself and muscle it around easily. since i am now a marine usa/ nitro pro i will be making one mod to the trailer so i can get into my chair when it loads back up, otherwise its a 3 foot drop. when i fish the big tournies (BFL Empire, Stren Series Northern) i just use a seat that plugs right into the floor (no pedestal) I fish as a co-angler right now. If you are looking at a boat please let me know. trackers and nitros are great boats, and i will try to help you out. Also i can get a system for your friends chair that locks into the deck and it swivels around to make fishing easier for him. Tracker Marine Group has worked with the NEPVA for the design and its pretty cool. ill get the info for you. sorry for the spelling, I'm studying for exams right now.

tight lines _ Jon Stanco

i hope to go to lakeville in the next week or so

We should try to set a date and get a bunch of people up there, either with trailered boats or rentals.
