I would love a CTFT day out on lakeville...

if any of you come up give a shout.

If you guys ever get up into Mass. to fish, Quabbin resevoir rents boats at at least 3 of their access points. Gate 8, gate 43, and I forget the northern most acces points # but I have rented boats out of there too. Lots of smallmouth in the big side, gate 8 , and plenty of largemouths out of gate 43, they call it the POG area.

I used to go camping for 3 or 4 days every June, and fish Quabbin. Lots of eagles, and untouched, not a house on the lake, all private state owned, well worth the trip.

I live on the Mass border and am trying to get out to the Quabbin to rent a boat. From 6am to 7pm it's 30 bucks for the boat, motor, gas, and life jackets. 4 bucks to park too. I think that's a great deal.

You can't beat it, the view alone is worth the money, even if you don't catch fish, which I think is nearly impossible.
