HOLY S*** !!! Imagine that on a rod and reel! Mustve been a crazy fight on a bow and arrow. If i saw that swimming in the water when i was on my boat id still be scared. I really hope he gets a replica mount and uses the meat for good!!!! _________________ YouTube Channel: NorthEastFisherman |

With what a threatened species they are I cannot but feel sad. I am hoping to hit Texas in July and give it a shot, but by rod. We will see. My brother in law and I are trying to set it up. It's a bit steep and probably out of our pricerange. |

Threatened? Really? I thought they were pretty abundant in that part of the country. |

The population actually is declining surprisingly. I know some states have put more of a strict creel limit on them. In some areas down south they are rarely seen, when back 20 years ago they were seen much more. I have a few friends that live down there, the problem is there's a ton of overfishing. _________________ Steve |
