Just wondering if the fish are still around up there or if the warmer weather has pushed the majority back out or not. Gonna find out for myself next week, but any info would be greatly appreciated! |

By next week the middletown area will probably be best. Fish top water or bait fish with herring. They are going nuts with the herring in that area. Good luck _________________ Better things happen at night! |

Water temp was 73 on the lower river yesterday,...as soon as the water gets past 70, it starts getting uncomfortable for the stripers in the river and they will all be on the move towards the salt. I'm not saying it'll be impossible to catch a striper,.. But it'll get noticeably worse each day from here. Also, I believe that the larger fish are the first ones to leave! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."
