Walmart actually has a nice Battery. I think it was like $60-75 and has a free replacement warranty. I never had a problem with mine.

Im on my fourth season with the three in my boat. Still going strong. Nice too, never have to add water.

For under $120.00 go with the Delco Voyager. They have 3 series.....get the biggest one you can fit in your boat. I have a couple of 5+ year old batteries still running strong with good duration. Just make sure you get fresh batteries anytime you buy them regardless of the brand by looking at their lot numbers and not some battery that's been sitting in Wally World's warehouse for the last 2 years. CHECK the numbers to be sure, if they are too old reject them!

Jim, I ended up just buying an interstate at a local shop. I went to 3 delco dealers and they didn't have any deep cells. I need to check out the numbers you are referring to as my battery was pretty dusty and I bought it from an automotive shop. I hope the battery isn't really old.

I guess I am the only 1 running with Die Hard Marine Batteries (Sears). I have had them in my boat for over 5 years and never had a problem. I believe they were about $60 to $80 each.

WOW, you guys have batteries in your boat for more than 3 years, your playing with a rough day on the water, hopefully not a tourny, I use the Wallmart Deep Cycles and never ever had a problem, but I change my batteries every 2 years. for 80.00 dollars each and free replacement you cant go wrong wether your in New York or Alabama theres always a Walmart that will exchange those batteries.
