Hit Moodus on sat afternoon with a friend. Considering the 40plus mph wind gusts and the rain hitting us in sheets I thought we did pretty good. I caught 4 and he caught 3. I was fortunate enough to catch a 5plus pounder and also a 4lb. Hell of a way to start the year. Water temp was 40-44 degrees and all fish were caught between 3 and 6 feet on crankbaits. I would have liked to try some other baits however it was so windy that it kind of limited us to crankbaits or spinnerbaits. I definetly felt that we would have caught alot more if the wind wasnt so crazy. Cant wait to go back there on a day when we can actually control the boat! |

Nice day on the water.
Any pics?
Some of the hogs being landed gets me excited that this year might be a good year. Better than last I hope, which seemed off from the past few. |
