Does anyone know what trails will be going on/coming back in 2008?
Obviously the big ones - CT Outdoors, Fed, NEBA, Riverfront Recapture, etc.
Any word on WET (Wednesday Night Tournaments) or CTOpenTournaments? Is the DP Trail going to make a comeback?
Just wondering what, if anything, people have heard. _________________ Bringing Along Weighty Sacks

I haven't heard about any of the smaller trails yet, but if I do I will post them. |

BMB" Big Mouth Bassers

sat aug 9 long pond 5pm - 12 midnight
sat aug 23 quaddick res 8am - 4pm
sat sept 13 mashapaug 7am - 2pm
HOW
1. $25 per person entry/ if you bring a partner it is $50 for the two of you as a team
2. 5 fish per boat (no more than 2 anglers per boat)
3. 100% pay out as follows:1st place= $12 x number of entries; second place= $8 x number of entries; and lunker= $5 x the number of entries
4. a 4 ounce per pound deduction for dead fish weighed in: 1 dead fish weighing 2 lbs will be a 8 ounce penelty; 2 dead fish 1 weighing 2 lbs and the second weighing 4lbs will be (2 lbs x 4oz) + (4lbs x 4ounces)= 24ounce penelty. That should give a good example how that works
5. artificials only
6. no prefishing from thursday preceding the tourny untill the time of the tourny.
Anybody can show up to fish, just pay at the launch. must have a working livewell system. This use to be called the "NO BULL TRAIL", and that is what it still means, no complaining the rules are right |

Jester,
I have fished this trail on and off for the last 10 years, back when John Tarnyak was running it, and up till the present. I try to fit a tourney in, when I don't have a conflicting tourney with another club. These are all good guys, and it's a low key trail. But don't let that fool you, these guys can catch em! _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |
