Hey all,..I'm going to set up some bass tournies in 2008, so I am taking a poll to see what day works better for folks! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

Saturdays are better for Bob and myself. Any chance getting a southern lake tourney? _________________ Fishermen will change the future. |

Mark,
I will also throw out the idea of a weekday tournament over the summer months. The lakes would be much less crowded and a permit should be easy to come by.
As far a southern lakes, what about lake Housatoilet? Bags may be small, but a test of fisherman skill no doubt.
Thanks for doing the legwork.
Brennan
Oh, and my boat was new in 85, but still new to me...... |

I may enter a couple of these if I get a live well on my boat. Either day is good for me. _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.

I was thinking East Lyme area like Powers, Pattagansett or Rogers. Moodus may be hard to get but worth a try. Just my 2cts. _________________ Fishermen will change the future. |

Either day on a weekend could be good, depending on what else is going on, or what other tournies I have already carved in stone. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

Ever consider a portable livewell?
I purchased one about 4 years ago from a guy on another site to use on my bowrider and it works great. They run about $175 and run off your 12 volt battery with ease. I've had as many as 9 bass in it out on Pachaug in a tourney without any problem. I've since added a nice 17' bass boat with dual livewells, but the portable allowed me to start tournament fishing with the boat I had and gain some great experience as well. |
