Launched around 6am and headed for the North islands to the right near the launch inlet. Winds were 5-10 from the South, Water temp was 79°
Circled the first (larger) island with no bites. trolled over to the next island and began catching several decent bass on the leeward (North) side in 5 to 15 fow.
Over the course of the morning we worked various points along the the Northern end of the lake and caught at least a keeper or two (12" or better) off most of them.
Headed South in the afternoon and caught several more good fish in the pads in 1-5 fow.
All in all a great day. I was not expecting much but the fishing was good IMHO.
My buddy and I each caught a dozen keepers with many roughly 1.5 to 2 lbs and two tipping 3. The majority of fish were caught on weightless texas rigged senko.
tight lines all
