Recently moved to CT, and I've been frequenting the Farmington with my kayak weekly. Landed a nice Pike two weeks ago, that measured 31" but all skunks after that. Any tips for that stretch of river? |

The water up there is usually very clear, so stealth is important. A kayak is a good way to cover a lot of water. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

Hey bro welcome to CT! Give it another week or two and and the shad will be everywhere and with them come bunkers and strippers. If you fish the train tressels and find some structure you should do well. If you get some large shiners and live line them just out of the reed or weed beds you can usually kill the pike.
Good luck |
