I forgot to wear my lucky fishing hat, so I only came in third place. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

So the fist tournament of the 2016 season is in the books. I want to thank everyone who came out, I hope all who attended enjoyed themselves, despite the rain and tough fishing I know I did.
I want to thank Anthony Vecca who is Co-President with me having him help with registration took a load off of me.
Well the weather held out for most of the day and when it did rain it was bearable. There were 23 anglers, which made this the largest yet and for most if was their first one. In all 34 bass were caught with a couple of smallmouth mixed in. The water was clear as always and still cool and the bass appeared to still be in pre-spawn. One trout was caught a few perch, pickerel and sun fish as well.
The lunker pool was $180.00, which was won by Anthony Vecca with a 19.5 fish, second was me with 16.5 and James Carey third with 16.
1. Anthony Vecca 68.5
2. James Carey 68
3. Phil Co 61
4. Scott Dupuis 35.25
5. Carlos Nieves 22.5
6. Alan Mason 16.5
7. Nicholas Pelletier 15
8. Richard Willete 12
9. Justin Davis 11
9. Derek Aldrich 11
10. Shawn Barham 8
Well once again it was great to see and meet everyone and hope to see you again soon.
