I've fished this lake from the shore multiple times with zero luck . Took the kids out yesterday for a "cheap" afternoon of fun and exploring the shoreline without a lot of hope for success . NAILED THEM. Each kid caught 4 bass each. I caught 2. One on each of their poles, including my daughter's 2ft Tinkerbell pole with lights in the handle. The kids had so much fun we went back today. |

There's not a lot of cover at McDonough to bang from the shore. There's more structure than cover. I always think of it as a dropshot/jig kinda lake. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |
