Hey guys saltwater reports seems quite dead, Just wondering if its a good idea to try pen field reef idea.
As i live in ny wondering if it is worth the trip. |

Create 'em. Don't chase 'em.
But honestly, there are much better places to fish at a much shorter drive if you're coming from NY. Why the interest in such a polluted, non-fishy (?) area of the sound?
I tried for blackfish last weekend at the usual spots off Pennfield, as the April season is almost over and I figured I'd at least try. Not a nibble, but wasn't really expecting much. |

Came out of So. benson today Bunker pods from Penfield to Bridgeport Harbor water temp 53. No gear aboard. |
