Let me know if you are going to hit the water near there any time soon. I'll try to join up with you if I can squeeze out a few hours. |

Hey, Rich! On Monday, we were the only ones who launched out of Sunnyside in Shelton, but we saw at least seven boats that launched out of O'Sullivan's in Derby. I had to put my Jeep into 4-Low to get over the rapidly melting pile of ice and snow on the ramp, but it wasn't a big deal. I'd bet that the ramp is clear, now. Every once in a while, big masses of ice and snow would fall into the water from shore. It was like mini glaciers calving. The fish were there, but didn't want to hit a single jig. Other than five or six that we inadvertently snagged, the one in my photo is the only one we got. Others (e.g., RichZ ) did really well with umbrella rigs. I'm sure that you would have killed it with yours. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |
