Finally got into some fish this weekend at Mamanasco in Ridgefield. A good mix of Perch, Crappie and Bass. 11 total, but the 4 bass were too small to keep. Still made for a nice Super Bowl fish fry.
All caught aggressively jigging a Jig Rap (orange tiger) in about 6-8 ft of water.
No takers whatsoever on canned clams and canned baby shrimp fall apart on the hook. Still searching for a viable grocery store bait.

Good job Ryan!
To people who jig in the ice.....
Fish are more bound to pay more attention to and hit your lure when you give it more action. If you're simply just doing tiny little "bumps" up and down, that'll get fish to look but then say no. You'll see what I mean by watching underwater footage on YouTube. |

If you caught them jigging there you would have caught 2x - 3x the amount on bait _________________
