Has anybody had any success targeting Stripers in October north of the CT RIVER mouth? Im looking to fish from my boat. Didnt know of any stripers make it to the East haddam, essex areas in october. |

There is a small slug of stripers that make a fall run, but honestly unless you are a die hard, and nothing better to do... go for smallies with big swim baits, and be glad if you catch a striper. they don't run up in numbers big enough to chase them, or to invest in eels, that won't get bit. |
