Fishing has been SLOW the last few days on the Salmon, from the DSR to Altmar, with only small numbers of salmon moving in and hunkering down during daylight hours. Boats on the lake were still hitting them at 90'. Check out Randy's report previously posted. No point in reinventing the wheel. Everyone up there is waiting for the rush of fish and people. The crazy season will soon begin. Managed a couple of nice fish, but really had to "work" hard. If up in Altmar, stop in and say hi to Chris at SRO. Since taking over last year, he's expanded the tackle shop and serves great BBQ smoked on site and cold beer. Hits the spot after a day on the river!

Hey Red,
I enjoyed your post, pic's and face page!
Congrats on your success!
Im having to "work hard" also, but it beats a sharp stick in the eye and makes the ones you do get to play with ALL that much more rewarding
