Hello all,
I am sorry for the troubles that you all have been having logging in to the forum. I believe I have found the problem and have fixed it. The fix should also resolve some people not being able to see new posts icons after they have logged in.
The tech stuff: The cookie specifies a domain when storing information about your session. These domains are very picky and ctfishtalk.com is different than www.ctfishtalk.com. Our settings were using only ctfishtalk.com and if you happen to browse to www.ctfishtalk.com the wrong cookie is set. Because of this, the software can not load your information and continues to think you are not logged in nor will remember your settings or what posts you have viewed.
Please let me know if you have any other problems. |

It looks like I'm back in business. The wierd thing was the site showed me as logged on ,but yet when I tried to respond to a post it would tell me I needed to log on which it wouldn't let me do,even if I tried changing my password which said was incorrect. It seemed to work today however.
Thanks |

I got another one- I haven't been able to log on from home for a few days. I'm thinking it's because my machine at work has not been 'logged out'. Is this a known issue- that only one machine can be logged on at a time?
I'm gonna log of today and try it from home tonight. |
