Went out to Somersville today. Hit the water at around 7 am and saw fishing popping the surface like crazy. Paddled out a bit and pitched the horny toad. After about 3 casts I landed a pickerel at around 5 lbs. About 10 minutes later I got a largemouth in the same area at about 3 lbs. Nothing for a bit after that so we paddled around a bit more and I came to my favorite fallen tree there. 1st cast at the base of the tree produced   Not much after that except a small 1 lber. All in all a great day. |
