While fishing some drop offs on Zoar for bass and crappie I got a nice surprise this Sunday. Caught this little guy on a 2" shad jig. This is my fourth wally out of Zoar this year, all coming while fishing close to shore where deeper drop offs are present. Good to see these recently stocked fish doing well in the lake. When I spoke to CT DEEP they told me they were fingerlings when introduced in Zoar. A couple more years and these guys are gonna be fun to catch!
