Going out tomorrow with an old friend for stripers and blues. Anyone been out and had some luck this year?

Caught a few nice 8# fish with one striper caught all day. I wouldn't do this boat again, but if you do bring plenty of cash. The mates will cut your lines at the smallest tangle and the captain will make you buy new rigs when they do. Boat went to hell quick when a dozen people would hook up and ten of them have never held a pole before. Beautiful day out though with plenty of other boats hooking up on 5-15 # fish. Ours appeared to be doing the best while drifting mackerels a few feet off the bottom.
