I fished Bantam Lake with bass tracker (aka Greg). Hey, Michael! I FINALLY caught one!

JJay (aka Jason) sent me a fishing selfie taken by a fisherman named Terry Gowan. Apparently, he's the master of the "Look away while you glory in your catch" photo. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

Nice job Phil!
What was the feeling of that redbreast like compared to a bluegill or rock bass of similar size?
As I've said, redbreasts are aggressive and energetic for their size. |

it was just a little one, Michael. It didn't put up much of a fight, but it sure was colorful. Thanks for calling my attention to them. I'd love to catch a larger one or a green sunfish. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

There's currently no state record for the redbreast due to lack of size here in CT. Most redbreasts caught are no bigger than 8" and heavier than 10 ounces.
There might be a chance for a 13 ounce redbreast caught in some medium sized river or larger lake, which would make a state record. |
