Can somebody copy the picture above and do Photoshop work with it by removing the bluegill and replacing it with a 10" rock bass?  |

The redbreast sunfish
Very aggressive and energetic fish for its size and prefers moving water. Found in small and medium sized streams that you would find other fish such as pumpkinseeds, rock bass, smallmouths, white suckers, largemouths, bluegills, and smaller pickerel.
I've had small redbreasts no bigger than 6" slam a HJ-6 and hit a F-5 on the surface like a bigger crappie or average river smallie would. |

This is apparently a female redbreast as the color is more orange to yellow. Males are more orange to red. This was from the Farmington. 
 |

Ever had times in that area when you're throwing a small spinner, spoon, and minnow lure and your average river redbreast slams it like a smallie or rock bass would?
1 certain stretch on the Pequonnock I sometimes hit is LOADED with them, and I've had times while playing topwater with a F-5 or F-7 those 6" redbreasts slam it! You should see them chase a HJ-6! |

I fished Lake Lillinonah with NWDarkcloud (aka Bob), Wanna Fish (aka Carl) and TurtleKiss (aka Kira), today. Bob caught THIS bad boy:
