Hi All,
New here. Just wondering if anyone knows any good spots along upper Housatonic River. I will be camping at Housatonic Meadows but noticed it's only fly fishing. I know there are few sports north of the campsite past covered bridge on the road that goes along the river.
Just wondering if there is any good spots along the south of Meadows, bit north of Kent?
Specifically looking to catch some Pike. Also any bait recommendations (preferably home made) would be welcome.
Thanks in advance |

Pike on the Housy north of Lake Lillinonah is rare.
Plenty of hard fighting smallmouths in the area you'll be in. Small Mepp's, Rapala Husky Jerk, Kastmaster, and marabou would be perfect lures for them. |
