Has anybody been using live eels with success in the CTR? Been skunked lately and trying to switch it up a little, thanks for any help!

Drift eels at night, especially around the bridges in the Hartford area or right the way down.

Day or night,...if you get an eel in front of a striper, it will get bit 99% of the time!!

How are you fishing your live eels? What is your preferred technique and hook setup? What kind of water are you throwing them into? I love fishing live eels but have found the water currents around me to be too fast in many spots to fish them this year (so far). I have spent almost all of my season fishing rivers and the water flow hasn't been to my liking to use eels yet

I have actually been having luck with blood worms the past couple days between East Hartford and Enfield. No keepers but a few 22-26.
