Does anyone on here repair/refurbish rods? or know of somebody in CT that does?

I have a late 60's Wright & McGill Co / Eagle Claw Denco - 7 ft Spinning Rod that I would like to put new guides on since the old ones are rusty and ready to snap off. It's a family hand-me-down that I can't part ways with and would like to refurb and use from time to time.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Most all shops do this. Fishing Factory 3 is out near you. Give 'em a call. If you're a DIY guy, it's not a very difficult project with plenty of step by step videos online.

If not FF3 then Rivers End in Old Saybrook. They do a lot of rod work there.

Thanks guys. I found a buddy interested in taking on the task. He builds his own carp rods so he should do just fine on this repair.
