8 weeks? I know of a couple rivers here in southern New England that get bunker between mid and late April...

OK then. I'm just going by what i remember seeing mid may every year.
I remember mid march bunker a couple years ago but that was a small pod in one of the harbors. The bunker are still WEEKS away in any numbers...

| As a commercial fisherman, i did not have to snag one to know they were 2 feet away from me as I was fishing we have spotted a few large schools in the housy, Milford harbor, west if Charles island and the stratford breakwater, stratford shoal and pen field reef the bunker are here! Not trying to be THAT guy I'm just trying to get some info out to fellow fisherman is all |

| I have seen them mid April in Bpt and new haven in snagabule numbers that's good to hear they are here even tho the water is still cold |

LOL i got a great laugh from this last night. I was gearing up with fish police and then it popped into my head that the middle of may is only 4 weeks away !!! Not 8 ! I am an idiot !
And i will add that my buddy saw the baitfish down there as well ... he said herring !
