Afternoon Everyone, Has anyone gone out to Rainbow Reservoir yet this year? I am looking to take my boat out somewhere North of Hartford.

I drove by there this week to check it out. I've never fished there before, but want to give it a try this spring.
There were 2 boats out there when I was at the ramp looking around. |

I've never been crazy about Rainbow, especially when the boat traffic picks up. There's some other spots worth hitting not far away.

What are some other spots, I have worked in the area for a while and haven't known many spots around the area.
My brother actually just moved to Simsbury, are there are any small lakes that i can put a 14ft boat in?
