NWS calling for cold temps throughout the week next week with not much precipitation in the forecast after Sunday.
Down here along the shoreline it'll hardly get above 40 any day and a few overnight lows in the teens, which would mean plenty of days hardly above freezing and most overnight lows in the teens for the higher elevations.
Things seem to be shaping up now, esp with the current water temps! |

Ed your user name looks extremely familiar hm I think I may know / know of you.
I wonder if its better that a lot of these lakes pnds etc, were just water.
A few places I drove by looked like the snow basically metled / turned into actual ice when it hit the water.
RATHER THEN it being slush surface.
More snow for sat sun maybe.
Nooo more snow let these cold temps freeze what we have now _________________

Did Sunday's and Monday's rain, humidity, and mild temps do anything to the lakes that were safe last week? |

Michael- I live in Berlin and all it did was melt the slush on top and create thicker black ice. |

With this pattern we will have more ice then we would have if we had no precipitation.
Some places did lose a lot of shore though.
Around the entire state we have had single digit temps which from what I have seen healed all shores.
I am sure those places that didnt have much ice before the storm most likely wont have much more now then they did before it rained _________________

Sounds good to me!
I'm just hoping this 1"+ of rain and warming trend doesn't do much. High 52 for Bantam Lake with rain heavy at times on Saturday
Not cooling down until Wednesday after more rain and snow on Tuesday |

thur lows around 25º
fri lows around 26º
sat lows around 19º
sun lows around 14º
so paranoid
Don't go by the high temps considering sat high basically hit at night during the day it was 10º cooler. _________________

Cold arctic air on its way again. Weekend will be wet and snowy followed by daytime highs hardly above freezing and overnight lows getting all the way down to the single digits.
Looks like ice is on its way back! |
