After printing my 2014 all waters license this afternoon I decided to take a ride to the Mill River TMA.
Spent no more than 45 minutes due to how much ice was covering the river. Some areas had as much as 3/4"!
The only thing that happened was while casting with a size 0 Mepps Dressed Aglia where the Mill River feeds into Lake Mohegan, I saw a largemouth come shooting out from under the ice and hit the lure before quickly spitting it. The bass looked to be at least 2 pounds and had a big mouth. |

Thus the reason they're named "LARGE MOUTH BASS."
