I was looking at the family fishing programs offered by the CT DEEP and they have a couple of them coming up in Jan/2014. The first is at White Memorial, Litchfield county. Has anyone done these before? Would you recommend these? I am thinking of taking my toddler to this. |

I've never done them because I'm familiar with fishing.
These programs are to help families and other people get to know about fishing, from info on different types of fish to learning how to catch certain types of fish. |

The C.A.R.E outings are always a great program to go to. C.A.R.E. has everything you need to start fishing that day, free. Tip ups, Bait, freshly drilled holes, and plenty of knowledgeable instructors to help you out. Finding fish to bite that day is another subject, though. _________________ ..I play nice with everyone.. |
