I'm sorta hijacking Fivestring's "Big Holdover" thread (good idea to get attention FS), to repost what I threw up over on the other thread. Part of the 1@32 pledge is to get the word out.

The goal of 1@32 is to spread the word to as many forums, websites, tackle shops etc., to VOLUNTARILY limit stripers kept. I know this is not a solution, but I believe it to be a step in the right direction.

Before anyone gets their panties in a bunch, let me stress that this is NOT to attack those that choose to take the legal limit of two fish. We all have different needs. This about a personal choice, and simply asking others to consider the same.

Thanks, RNA. This is a great idea, a grassroots movement to help preserve and strengthen the striped bass population. Not a very catchy title for the thread, though. |
