Having a rough november. I Keep beating myself up on deep lakes and it always seems that the wind has to be blowing 20+ and the temperature cant be higher then 40.
Spending some serious time with jerkbaits with a little sucess.
Heres a 3 and change largie Anthony got on a luckycraft 4ft diver flat mini diver or whatever it is in rootbeer. Over pretty healthy weeds.
A 2 6 and a 3 2, larger on a luckycraft jerkbait- other was on that same shallow crankbait (5 minutes into todays adventure)
We both lost a good fish on the silver buddy today as well as 1 definite hit on a jerk. Rough few hours on the lake today but still fun to get out there. |

Nice job,..like i said,..if you get any fish this time of year,..it's a successful outing! I stunk it up at Quonnipaug this afternoon. Only a few pickeral and a couple of crappies! Had a nice cooling breeze, so I didn't have to worry about getting overheated! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

nice job nick and anthony. You, Anthony and mark always kill it - you guys prove that you don't need luck when you got the skills. Good job guys.
Nick, let me know if you want to fish this weekend. I am free Saturday and Sunday, so let me know if you want to do some fishing. I could use some lesson from a pro - I have very little experience fishing this time of year and can only catch skunks.
I hit the Wetherfeild cove on Saturday with a friend. We set out at 1pm and fished till 4PM. The only thing we caught was a running nose and cold feet. We had live bait and were hoping for some pike but the bite was dead. I lost my underwater walk the dog lure . My bait caster needs new line and the first cast i threw the spool tangled, stopped and my lure broke off and went flying. That was the first lure I lost in a while. Oh, well, I guess I will just have to buy 5 more .
Nick call me as the week rolls out - I would definitly like to get a couple more trips in with yah before the ice rolls in. I had a good time last time we went out.
Happy Thankgiving all _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.

LOL,..exactly what I was saying Nick,..those were the first and only ones I've ever gotten there! They were pretty decent size,..just like everything else in that lake I guess! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."
