| I got the call from lilli water authority - the ramp work at the bridge is done! - they will be filling up the lake (9.5 to 10 feet) starting sunday evening and should be done wed! -- I am sure the pike bite is still on! |

| we are going next saturday with a couple of others - thinking maybe a tail gate to end the season at pond brook if anyone is interested - also - i got a picture that i am putting on my fb page of a 6lb fall brown caught up at the falls on shore - hope i can get my boat up in there - i have caught some great fish up there including a surprise walleye last year! |

last year i fished lilli as much as i could into december - i tried the stripper fishing on housy BUT i found the fishing fun but the sceenery depressing - the river has bounced back and i love that -- but all the trash on shore from derby down made me sick! - i suppose if i had GREAT days i could have looked the other way but i did fair - BUT i just hate to see a river come back and nothing done to clean up the shore!
but the lilli deal while tough was at least pleasant on the eyes and certainly UN-CROWDED |
