Decided to go to candy on Monday. It was perfect out. I couldn't have asked for a better day weather wise. Only saw a few others out on the lake they were all fishing live bait. Very quiet out there. Was fishing live bait and caught lots of fish. Water temp was around 51 average. It was not as good as it could have been but I still caught a ton of fish. Biggest three smallies were 4.2, 3.8, and 3.2. Get out there while we still have no ice. I hope to get out there again soon. |

I was down at the Wood on the 12th and had a decent day...caught 27 in total and 3/4 of them were all around the 3.5 - 4 lb mark or over. Gotta love live bait this time of year.

wow, 20 fish above 4lbs, that is really impressive even with live bait. _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.

Candlewood Bait and Tackle over past Danbury Hospital. Just regular minnows.
The smallmouth are just stacked up in spots. |
