Anyone been fishing the Housy between the dam and Rte 8? Any signs of a fall run? You can PM me and I promise not to give it away. |

Yeah, I know. I just haven't had much of a chance to get out and am wondering whether it is worth making the time now or should I save the time up for later in the fall. I'm dying to put my new Penn Battle into a nice size striper. |

We may or may not have done some scouting yesterday and may or may not have seen or not seen any fish....at any one or more of several locations at different times of the day or night; with multiple possible techniques.
Best to be the first one there and leave when word gets out.
I have always found those types of outings, when you discover a quiet spot with fish, to be the most enjoyable and memorable.
